November 24th, 2008 was a great day to make history! Fashion Designer Mobolaji Olambiwonnu and Roman teamed up to shoot & capture the look & feel for the new collection at African Cowboy Clothing at St. Elmo Village in L.A.
Mobolaji came up with the idea for the African Cowboy shirts in 2007 while walking through a marketplace in Lagos, Nigeria. He was so inspired by the rich colors and textures that he got the idea of merging colorful African fabric with the cowboy shirt design that he was wearing. It was then that African Cowboy was born. Not just as a company that is committed to making beautiful shirts, but as one that is committed to also making a difference in Africa via a fair trade business model.
The new collection will hit the runways at Agape this coming Saturday Nov. 29th and in Hollywood next Friday Dec. 5th.
